Currents and boats are usually two factors associated with diving. When you are diving in busy areas with a lot of boat traffic, boaters don’t always recognize divers in the water or currents carry you further than expected. Deploying your delayed surface marker buoy before you are ascending will make others on the surface aware of your presence in the water and allows you to safely ascent.
During the course you will learn about different types of reels and marker buoys, how to safely launch a surface marker and make a safety stop while using a line, reel and buoy.
During the Delayed Surface Marker Buoy course, you will do 2 dives in one day.
